Story 1: The Hero Who Hated The Legion (written by Cary Bates). A satellite holding stolen jewels crashes down to Earth in a special section called Marzal. Marzal’s protector, Tyroc, is opposed to the Legion because he feels they were not there for Marzal when they needed it in the past. However, Tyroc and the Legion are after a group of thieves that intend to steal the jewels that crashed in the satellite. When Tyroc sees how selfless the Legion is, he reconsiders his stance on them and decides to travel to Metropolis to apply for membership.
